It's really about working the glass. While I have always enjoyed observing the natural world, exploring pattern and texture, it is the endless realm of color in glass that continues to challenge me. My work in glass gives me the opportunity to tease out color gradients and manipulate pattern. I spend a lot of time on composition, and work to refine ways glass can speak for me.

Over 20 years of working in glass

has allowed me to explore color

and beauty of warm glass,

from the intimate size of personal

adornment to design

on a larger scale.

I am currently a Studio Artist and teacher

at the VisArts Center in Rockville, Maryland.
